UPSC conducts Assistants Commandants Examinations viz: BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB for male as well as female candidates.
Qualification:
A candidate must possessed a Bachelor’s degree of a Recognised University.
Age Limits:
A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not be more than 25 years.
*The upper age limit mentioned will be relaxable for the following:
i) upto a maximum of 5 years for SC/ST.
ii) upto a maximum of 3 years for OBC
iii) upto a maximum of 5 years for Civilian Central Government Servants.
Scheme for the Examinations:
Paper – I: General Ability and Intelligence – 250 marks
Paper – II: General Studies, Essay and Composition – 200 marks
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
a) 100 metre race
Male: 16 sec
Female: 18 sec
b) 800 metre race
Male: 3 min 45 sec
Female: 4 min 45 sec
c) Long Jump
Male: 3.5 metre (3 chances given)
Female: 3.0 metre (3 chances given)
d) Shot Put (7.26 kgs)
Male: 4.5 metre
